FarashaFarasha started her love affair with dance & music at a very young age. Her mother encouraged her love of performing and enrolled her in tap, jazz, ballet, and hula classes. Her first introduction to belly dance came at  the age of  12 when her mother took her to a class held at the local Southern California community center. As an adult, she went on to careers in modeling, make up artistry  &  advertising  while still dancing when she could for the ultimate expression and release that it gave her.  Her life changed when watching a morning show and seeing a belly dancer perform... she was in awe, and to her amazement remembered the belly dance vocabulary taught  to her when she was a little girl. She has been hooked ever since.

Farasha has studied with world renowned belly dance artist Jehan Kamal of NYC, has completed yoga teacher training & has taken many workshops and classes with top dancers of different styles throughout the United States. She has also been an Instructor for Boston Ballet's Taking Steps program; Devadasi Studio's , Tokyo, Japan and is currently teaching at The New Red Rock Resort Spa's Movement Studio's and the Aquae Sulis Spa, JW Marriott, Las Vegas,NV.
